Description

Wheat (scientific name: Triticum aestivum L.) is a Gramineae, wheat is a year or more annual herbaceous herb. Culms erect, tufted, up to 100cm high, leaf sheath loose phimosis, ligule membranous, leaf blade long lanceolate. Spikes erect, spikelets containing many florets, glume-ovate, lemma oblong-lanceolate, palea several as long as lemma. The flowering and fruiting period is from May to July.
